Nitro was born on May 16, 1986 to a small Connemara/Welsh pony, quite amazing considering Nitro stands 16.3 hands high. Nitro came to live with Kyley in 1999 to be her next project horses. It took many years to develop this barely trained horse into an exceptional dressage mount.

In his youth Nitro was a very successful Pony Club and Dressage horse. Nitro went to USPC Nationals in Kentucky in 2001, and the 2000 and 2001 USDF Region 1 Junior & Young Rider Team Championships where his team was Reserve Champion. Nitro has competed up to 2nd level dressage and he completed a C-2 Pony Club rating in 2006.

Because of his age, Nitro is now enjoying semi-retirement with light trailriding. However, he would consider coming out of retirement if the right person came along that wanted to enjoy his company. (possible on farm lease available).
